Jonny Stax
Jonny Stax is a multi-disciplinary artist, creative coach, and cultural equity strategist. Ventures like The Potion Factory, ArtFarm Iowa, and The Scooty & JoJo Show mobilize creative forces to manifest a more JEDI world (Just, Equitable, Diverse, Intersectional). As a creative strategist, he has brought artistic practices into public health and justice movements, using his social work training to propel social change in Seattle, Washington, DC, New York City, and Chicago. He founded ArtFarm Iowa for creatives to heal and renew while connecting with rural lands and people. Jonny co-founded The Scooty & JoJo Show with theatre maker Scott Bradley, creating and producing critically-acclaimed live entertainment throughout Chicago that incorporate spectacle, music, dance, puppetry, video, and circus skills. As a performer and producer, he has opened for Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, and Eric Clapton. Jonny has been published in peer-reviewed and popular publications.
